Ellevate Squads are small, diverse groups of Ellevate members that commit to supporting each other with achieving their professional goals. Whether you're staring a new career, growing a business, working toward landing a leadership role, or even just looking for a group of women who can help inspire and motivate you, Squads are designed to connect you with other women who are dedicated to moving their careers (and their lives) forward. We've designed the Squads program to help members set aside time each week where they can focus on the career questions that keep them up at night. We created Squads to offer you a safe and accessible environment to learn from you peers, expand your network, and increase your confidence.
Why should I join a Squad?
Research shows that for women (like you) to succeed in networking, it's important for you to belong to an active group of supportive and diverse peers. A strong, active group acts as a support system, gives you feedback, and holds you accountable for making progress toward your goals, while also helping others to do the same. Together, the group’s knowledge, network, and power is greater than the sum of its parts. In fact, we're 95% more likely to achieve our goals when we share what we're working toward with at least one other person. By joining a diverse group of women through Squads, you'll also get to expand your professional network and gain new ideas for your career.
How much time should I set aside to participate?
Each Squad meets once a week for 12 weeks, and each meeting is 30 minutes a piece. Meetings take place via video conference (we use Zoom). To help you get the most out of the program, we recommend setting aside 30 minutes before each meeting to prepare notes, questions, and share advice with your fellow Squad mates.
When can I apply for Squads?
Squads are available twice a year - in the Fall and Spring. You will need to submit an application to participate in the program about two months before the program officially begins.
Spring 2024 Squad applications will be available starting January 1st.
You'll be able to submit your application here.
The program will officially begin the first week of April 2024.
