Why are Squad Mods important?

Stepping up as the Squad Mod is just one of many ways you can develop your leadership skills, mentor and support other women, and demonstrate your commitment to the growth and success of fellow Ellevate members. You'll also have the opportunity to help other Ellevate members find their voices, clarify their goals, and build authentic relationships with one another. It's a great way to get more practice (and more confident) in your leadership and facilitator skills.

Whether it's your first time participating in an Ellevate Squads (or your 2nd or 3rd time), great Squad Mods are enthusiastic about the opportunity to create a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can share their stories, challenges, and ideas. Remember, we'll be here every step of the way to offers support, advice, and recommendations to help you make the Squads experience a positive one for all.

What are my responsibilities?
Squad Mods are the leaders of each Squad and help guide their group  through the curriculum, facilitate each weekly meeting and facilitating the weekly meetings. Designating a single individual to keep everyone informed about the program schedule, including reminders about scheduled Hot Topics and Hot Seats, ensures that we can make the program accessible to Ellevate members all around the world. You'll also be responsible for setting up the recurring, weekly meeting via Zoom.
